After years of creating serious, fine art as Kaiti Draws, this project was born from a desire to just... have fun. Bottom Line Co. started as a playful idea, because honestly, butts are funny. We all need more joy, laughter, and light during tough times. It’s not a serious project, and that’s exactly the point. It’s a celebration of every body, every shape, and every person. It's also a celebration of the beautiful imperfections of human craft - this is a challenge to myself as a perfectionist.

Here's the thing, everyone has a butt, and we’re here to light them up.

What is my Process?

These are all my design start to finish. I learned how to use Blender to model a 3D butt. I had no experience, so I thank the Donut Tutorial by Blender Guru for that free learning experience. My amazing friend donated his time and resin to printing me some 3D models and then I was on my way. I created my own silicone molds using the 3D resin models for both wax melts and candles. There has been a lot of trial and error, but the process has been extremely fun! Eventually I will post my process on social media (come follow!)

Our candles are handmade and scent-forward, using certified clean fragrance oils from CandleScience. Using diverse wax sources helps minimize environmental impact! For our jar candles, we use a coconut-soy blend. Coconut wax holds fragrance beautifully and has a slight stronger throw than purely soy. Our butt candles and wax melts use a beeswax-soy blend, giving them a bit more sturdiness while still burning clean.

Please note: our products are handmade, so expect some natural variation in appearance and burn time. The butt candles are small and art-forward — we recommend a starting burn at 3 hours, then in short sessions ~ 2 hours max. And yes, watch the wax melt down the crack, you’re welcome.
